Muhammad-Amin Isah Isako

Security Risk Manager

Amin leads security risk management at Lafiya, protecting the teams, Lafiya Sisters, and assets that deliver family planning services in last-mile communities. His work covers security risk assessment and analysis, emergency preparedness and crisis response, and engagement with government and security agencies at state and local levels across Lafiya's operating states. His approach is largely spatial, using mapping and geographic analysis to help teams anticipate risk rather than react to it.
Amin joins Lafiya from One Acre Fund Nigeria, where he served as Field Risk Specialist, leading security risk management and government relations across the organisation's field operations. There he designed and rolled out the country emergency response framework, built the incident reporting and escalation systems used in leadership decision-making, and managed relationships with security agencies supporting field access and operational continuity.
He holds a degree in Education Mathematics from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, and works with data analysis and geographic information systems to turn security information into decisions teams can act on.
