Philemon is a public health expert and programme leader with over 18 years of experience helping governments take ownership of the health programmes their communities depend on. A medical doctor with an MPH and Master’s degrees in Health Economics, Public Policy and Development Studies, he has led family planning, maternal and child health, HIV and health systems work across Nigeria with the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs, The Challenge Initiative, the Gates Institute and FHI 360.
He joins Lafiya as Director of Programmes, where he is excited to help states build family planning programmes that last.
