Operations Manager
Praise leads Lafiya's technical operations, building and maintaining the systems and infrastructure the organisation depends on as it scales. His work includes leading the design and deployment of Lafiya's centralised data infrastructure, developing internal tools and automations, managing device and cybersecurity policy, and supporting UK regulatory compliance and banking relationships. He acts as the technical bridge between the operations team and external contractors, ensuring high-quality delivery across Lafiya's growing tech stack.
Praise brings a background spanning software engineering, process automation, and financial compliance. Prior to Lafiya, he worked at Guaranty Trust Bank in the UK, first as a Financial Crime Compliance Officer and later as a Robotic Process Automation developer. He is also a Director and Board Trustee of the Henrietta Nwabusi Nnadi Mathematics Foundation, a non-profit promoting STEM literacy in Ngwo, Nigeria.
Originally from Nigeria, Praise holds an MSc in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Nottingham and a BEng in Robotics from the University of Plymouth.
